About me
Back in the '80s, I was introduced to Pilates as a part of my treatment plan for an ankle injury.
The woman I worked with, Carola Trier, was a pioneer in the Pilates field and was the first person to open a Pilates Studio with the blessing of Joseph Pilates himself.
Within several weeks, Pilates fixed my injury. I was stronger than ever. I realized this Method was magic!
Throughout the years, I’ve studied Classical Pilates, Contemporary Pilates and many Special Populations; earned certifications and licenses; and attended classes, workshops and seminars.
I’ve taught in studios, boutiques, small gyms, franchises and online. I’ve worked back end and front end: teaching privates, duets, trios and group classes.
I’ve also experienced “instructor burnout” & frustration. The Pilates field has evolved so much that some of the key elements that created the “magic” I experienced back then are getting lost.
My mission as a Consultant for Pilates Professionals is to help you:
Navigate finding your Pilates niche
No longer feel the pressure to keep “getting more certifications” or follow the latest trends
Plan your Pilates career in a way that works for YOU in what has become a global multi-billion dollar and growing industry. (The global Pilates & yoga studios market is expected to approach $200 billion by the end of 2026.)
Find more balance without burnout stealing your passion

“After my own certification, I invested significant time, money and energy into additional trainings — some helpful, some unnecessary and some that pulled me further from what actually suited me. That experience and the burnout that followed showed me how easy it is to keep adding without stepping back to assess what’s truly needed. This work was created to help instructors move forward strategically, not reactively.”
